The Story of 'Mavournin Rose'

My family is as Irish as can be! My parent's decided to bless me with the name, Shannon Rose, as it encompassed their love of Ireland and the beauty that would be their child.

My Grandma Ruth and Grandpa Walther had always called my mother 'My Mavournin' instead of 'Maureen.' Mavournin meaning 'my dear my darling one'. Maureen being the Irish interpretation of the name Mary. They had felt that Mavournin better encompassed the beatiful, Irish baby that was their daughter.

So, in honor of my family's heritage and my Grandparent's love of their daughter, 'Mavournin Rose' emerged.
